"Frost Alarm" has come to mean an electronic device designed to monitor temperature and give warning when temperature falls to a setpoint. Some of Westach's frostalarms give this warning in the form of a buzzer. Others have a relay closure output used to control a sprinkler valve or other frost prevention device. (Some have both a relay and a buzzer). And some are designed to flash a warning light from a remote location. There are presently thousands of these simple, proven, American made, Westach frost protection instruments installed at orchards, vineyards and farms, all over the world.
